Bus driver said to have ordered migrants off bus to be probed

A court of first instance prosecutor in the northern port of Thessaloniki on Friday called for an investigation into claims that a bus driver forced two passengers to get off his bus because they were immigrants.

According to sources, the bus driver claims to have ejected the migrants from his bus because they did not have validated tickets, claiming that he had allowed other migrants to travel without valid tickets in the past.

Lawyers who reported the incident, however, claimed that the migrants had been ready to pay for their tickets but were not given the chance to do so.
