Newspaper shareholder to face trial over guns kept in personal museum

Businessman and shareholder in Proto Thema newspaper Anastasios Pallis is to stand trial on April 26 after being arrested for owning firearms without the necessary paperwork.

Pallis was arrested after police raided his personal museum in Vari, southern Athens. They found 52 weapons that did not have paperwork and documents for 27 guns that were unaccounted for.

The businessman faces charges relating to breach of gun ownership laws.
