One killed, two injured in drive-by shooting outside Patra nightclub
A 35-year-old man was shot dead and two others injured in a drive-by shooting at a nightclub in Patra, western Greece, early Wednesday.
Police said two men on a motorcycle stopped outside the club and opened fire as the three victims stood outside. One of the victims, a 32-year-old, was seriously injured in the attack. The other, a 42-year-old, suffered minor injuries.
Police recovered 23 bullet casings from the scene. They said the assailants were wearing white crash helmets.
Officers said the attack appeared to be a settling of scores but would not comment further.
