Assailants shoot at University of Crete academic’s empty car
A car belonging to an academic at the University of Crete was shot at outside his house near the town of Iraklio early on Monday.
Police said that the windows were smashed in the attack but nobody was injured as the incident happened at 4 a.m. Two shotgun shells were found at the scene.
There was no immediate indication of what the motive for the shooting might have been.
