Search for survivors after cargo ship sinks south of Peloponnese following collision

At least 10 sailors are missing after a cargo ship collided with another vessel and sank off the southeastern coast of the Peloponnese on Monday.

Authorities are using helicopters, airplanes and boats to search for survivors from the collision.

It is not clear what caused the Cook Island-flagged Piri Reis to crash with the Consouth, which is registered in Antigua and Barbuda.

It was not immediately clear if there is a risk of pollution in the area.
