Almost 600 inmates at Larissa Prison go on hunger strike over conditions

Inmates at Larissa Prison went on hunger strike on Tuesday in protest at the conditions of their detention.

About 580 prisoners are taking part in the hunger strike. They are demanding, among other things, better medical care and changes to the furlough system.
