Strike to disrupt trains, other services to be limited over Easter break
Public transport services will run a restricted service over the Orthodox Easter holidays while national railway services and the Proastiakos suburban railway will be disrupted due to strike action by employees protesting the government’s plans to privatize the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE).
Railway services will be halted on Saturday from 6 p.m. until midnight, all day on Sunday and from midnight Sunday until noon on Monday.
There will be no metro to and from Athens International Airport on Sunday.
Ferry and flight services are set to operate as normal as thousands of city dwellers head to their villages or the islands for the Easter break.
