New twist in Dafni murder probe
Police investigating the murder last month of 30-year-old Giorgos Kotsilidis in Dafni, southern Athens, apparently by a 24-year-old woman he met through Facebook and three accomplices, have widened their probe to three individuals who appear to have known about the plot.
One is a woman who told police the 24-year-old had informed her of her plan to rob Kotsidilis and, after the killing, her intention to flee.
The second individual is the ex-business partner of the victim’s father who, according to the latter, had threatened him since they parted ways last May.
The third is an antique dealer who allegedly sought payment from the victim’s father to reveal details of a plot to kill Kotsilidis before his death.
