Man wanted over murder of pawn shop owner’s son turns himself in
A 27-year-old man wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of 30-year-old pawn merchant Giorgos Kotsilidis at his home in the Athens neighborhood of Dafni handed himself in on Friday.
The suspect appeared at a magistrate’s office and was arrested. He will give his deposition on Monday.
Another man, identified by police as 27-year-old Constantinos Arapakis, is still wanted by authorities. Another two suspects are already in custody.
Kotsilidis, whose father owned a pawn shop, was robbed and murdered after apparently meeting at his home with a woman he befriended on Facebook.
