Ex-interior minister of Cyprus called to testify in Tsochatzopoulos trial
A magistrate has called former Cypriot Interior Minister Dinos Michailidis and his son to testify at the Athens trial of Greece’s ex-Defense Minister Akis Tsochatzopoulos, and another 18 co-defendants, in connection with a huge money-laundering network.
Michailidis’s stint as interior minister in Cyprus coincided with Tsochatzopoulos’s as defense minister in Greece between 1996 and 2001.
