Four-hour air-traffic control stoppage at Greek airports on Thursday

Delays and cancellations are expected at Greek airports on Thursday as air-traffic controllers will walk off the job at noon until 4 p.m.

The work stoppage is part of the action called by civil servants’ union ADEDY in support of secondary school teachers who are in dispute with the government over working conditions.

During the stoppage, there will be no flights in or out of Greece, leading to the departure and arrival times of dozens of flights being changed.

Anyone traveling to or from a Greek airport on Thursday is advised to get in touch with their airline.
