Air-traffic control action to disrupt flights on Thursday

Flight disruptions were expected at Greek airports on Thursday as air-traffic controllers were set to walk off the job from noon until 4 p.m.

The industrial action was called by the ADEDY civil servants’ union in support of secondary schools teachers with regard to their dispute with the government over working conditions.

During the stoppage, there will be no flights in or out of Greece, leading to the departure and arrival times of dozens of flights being changed.

Travelers are advised to get in touch with their airline.
