Tsochatzopoulos’s spouse back in court
Viki Stamati, the wife of former Defense Minister Akis Tsochatzopoulos, returned to court on Friday as the pair, along with another 17 suspects, observed another day of witness statements and legal arguments.
Stamati had spent the last few days in the hospital due to a health problem.
Financial Crimes Squad official Nikos Maitos continued giving evidence and insisted that a report he produced outlining how offshore firms were used to launder money Tsochatzopoulos obtained from bribes was accurate.
