Ermis portal delivers official documents online
A new Internet portal launched by the Ministry of Administrative Reform makes it possible to conduct 81 separate interactions with the Greek state online and free of charge, cutting queues and reducing red tape.
The Ermis portal allows citizens to register with the service and request a variety of certificates, applications and other documents.
First-time users need to log on to www.ermis.gov.gr to register. Once they receive confirmation and a password via e-mail, they should go to their nearest Citizens’ Advice Bureau (KEP) with their identity card or passport to confirm the registration.
Users will also be assigned an electronic mailbox to which all documents they request will be sent.
