Bangladeshi man arrested for human trafficking after 27 migrants discovered in Thessaloniki apartment

A 35-year-old Bangladeshi was arrested on human trafficking charges on Friday while another three of his compatriots were being sought after 27 migrants were discovered in an apartment in Ano Poli, Thessaloniki.

According to police, the migrants were expected to pay 700 euros each to the members of the ring to be taken to various central European countries.

Out of the 27 migrants, 21 were residing in Greece illegally.
