Rapid Vienna fans must stand trial in Thessaloniki, court rules

A Thessaloniki court decided on Friday that seven fans of Austrian soccer club Rapid Vienna have to stand trial in the northern Greek city in connection to violence at a game with local club PAOK last August.

Several arrests were made ahead of the Europa League play-off match and the seven, aged 18 to 31, are accused of throwing flares and a Molotov cocktail.
