Thursday work stoppage to affect public hospitals and ambulance service

State hospitals will be operating with skeleton staff for four hours on Thursday.

POEDIN, the union representing public hospital staff, announced on Monday that its members will hold a stoppage between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The stoppage will also affect health centers and the ambulance service.

There will be a protest in front of the Health Ministry at noon on Thursday.
