Policeman shoots himself dead in toilets at Athens International Airport
A 34-year-old policeman serving with the National Intelligence Service committed suicide at Athens International Airport on Monday, sources said.
The man, whose identity has not been made public, had gone to the airport with colleagues to collect some suspects. He told his fellow officers he was going to the toilet, where a cleaning woman found him dead a little later.
Sources said the man had used his service revolver to shoot himself. The officer was married.
