Pakistani arrested for murdering compatriot in Nea Philadelphia
A 41-year-old Pakistani national was arrested on Friday for the alleged murder of a 24-year-old compatriot at an apartment in Nea Philadelphia, northern Athens, on May 27.
According to police reports, the suspect, who shared the apartment with the victim, doused him with inflammable liquid before setting him and the flat on fire.
The suspect cited financial differences and having been insulted by the victim as the motive behind his actions.
