Lagarde list panel recommends charges against ex FinMin

The parliamentary committee probing former Finance Minister Giorgos Papaconstantinou’s handling of the Lagarde list of possible tax cheats on Thursday reported its findings to Parliament and recommended that the former socialist heavyweight be charged with forging a document and breach of duty.

The report was signed off on Wednesday after Democratic Left MP Vassilis Economou backed his six peers from New Democracy and PASOK.

It was unclear whether MPs from Independent Greeks, the Communist Party and Golden Dawn would submit reports.
