Grigoris Solomos, former Greek minister, dies at 84
Former Deputy Health Minister and director of the Social Security Foundation (IKA) Grigoris Solomos died at a hospital in Athens at the age of 84 on Wednesday.
He will be remembered for being part of the group of politicians that helped set up Greece’s National Health System (ESY) in the early 1980s.
