Hellas Gold arson suspects remanded in custody

Two residents of Ierissos in Halkidiki, northern Greece, were remanded in custody on Wednesday after facing an magistrate in connection with an arson attack last February on the premises of the Hellas Gold mine near the village of Skouries.

The two suspects, aged 25 and 41, were detained amid protests by supporters.
