Three arrested for stealing 800 kilos of peaches

Three men – aged 30, 39 and 41 – were expected to face a prosecutor in Pella, northern Greece, over the weekend after being charged with stealing 800 kilos of peaches, worth 700 euros, from a 50-year-old man’s farm in the village of Aghios Georgios.

The suspects were arrested by a police patrol after being found to be transporting the stolen fruit in a van.
