Kolonaki restaurant targeted in arson attack
A restaurant in Kolonaki, central Athens, was damaged following an arson attack early on Wednesday.
According to early reports, unknown assailants riding on a motorcycle hurled a plastic bag containing explosives at the restaurant which is located on the crossing of Ploutarchou and Patriarchou Ioakeim Streets.
A restaurant employee reportedly suffered light injuries while the blast also caused damage to neighboring stores and vehicles parked in the vicinity.
Police were investigating the incident.
