Mother faces magistrate on charges of beating baby to death
A 21-year-old woman from Didymoteicho in northeastern Greece is to face a magistrate on Thursday on suspicion of fatally injuring her 13-month-old child.
The woman, who was not named, is accused of hitting the boy on the head because he was crying.
The child lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
