Public hospital workers hold stoppage, protest against government reforms

Employees at public hospitals are holding a work stoppage between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday to protest government reforms.

The protesters are due to gather outside the Health Ministry at 11.30 a.m.

The workers oppose plans to transfer some 1,500 healthcare workers and turn at least six hospitals in Attica into health centers.
