Death of young siblings found in irrigation ditch attributed to accident

The death of two brothers, aged 4 and 7, whose bodies were found by police on Thursday in an irrigation ditch in the village of Strefi in Ilia, western Greece, after the parents reported them missing on Wednesday, has been attributed to an accident.

The two Bulgarian siblings were delivering a parcel of food to a relative when they are believed to have fallen into the canal.
