Arrests reach eight over deadly Roma clan feud
Five more people people, bringing the total to eight, were arrested on Thursday in connection to a violent altercation between rival clans at a Roma camp southwest of Patra in western Greece that resulted the death of four people and the injury of another four.
At least 12 people participated in the attack on a rival family’s home, using a hunting rifle, a handgun and makeshift weapons.
Three of the victims were members of the family in residence – the father, aged 50, a daughter, 31, and a son, aged 26 – while the fourth was from the family that led the attack.
