Man drowns on Corfu
Coast Guard authorities on Corfu were investigating the death of a 35-year-old foreign national who was discovered unconscious off the coast of Garitsa in Corfu late on Friday, and died while being transported to the Ionian island’s general hospital.
The man is believed to have drowned, though the investigation continues.
No details regarding his identity were released.
