Man held after shooting, killing ‘trespasser’ in Viotia

A 64-year-old factory owner in Viotia is facing aggravated manslaughter charges after shooting and killing a man he allegedly suspected was a robber.

The 64-year-old shot the 58-year-old with a hunting rifle and immobilized another man, aged 42, when he reportedly saw them trespassing on the factory’s premises on Sunday.

The 58-year-old died in hospital from a gunshot wound to the leg.
