Swiss tourist hit by mystery bullet in Rethymno
A bullet was removed from the leg of a Swiss tourist on Monday night after he was shot while on vacation in Rethymno, Crete.
The bullet lodged in the man’s leg as he was sitting at a table outside his hotel.
He was taken to Rethymno Hospital to be treated for the non-life threatening injury.
It was not clear where the bullet came from but Cretans often fire guns at weddings, baptisms and other special occasions.
