Police raid in Laconia results in 12 arrests
A total of 32 suspects were temporarily detained following a police raid in Laconia, in the Peloponnese on Friday.
Twelve of the 32 were subsequently arrested.
According to a statement by authorities, charges include failing to produce legitimate residence permits, drug possession and electricity theft.
Police said 173 people – including 54 foreigners – and 167 vehicles were inspected during the operation.
