Reps of A-Orizon Media Ltd pledge to provide details on new owners of 902
Representatives of A-Orizon Media Ltd, the Cyprus-based company that bought the Greek Communist Party’s TV and radio stations, pledged on Wednesday to provide the National Council for Radio and Television (ESR) with details about who is behind the firm.
The Communist Party (KKE) has so far revealed few details about who bought its broadcast service, known as 902.
The sale and its apparently secretive nature continues to draw criticism from SYRIZA.
A-Orizon’s representatives said that the firm plans to begin broadcasts by September 10 and hopes to hire about 100 people who have lost their jobs at public broadcaster, ERT.
