Thessaloniki woman held for over 1-mln-euro debt to the state

A woman in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, has been arrested for alleged outstanding debts to the state, reports said on Tuesday.

The 55-year-old manager of a telemarketing firm is believed to owe more than 1 million euros in unpaid taxes to the state, reports said.

She was expected to face a prosecutor.

Also police said they have arrested five more suspects aged between 39 and 58 for alleged tax debts to the state ranging from 90,852 to 217,430 euros.
