Corfu man nabbed with cocaine-stuffed peppers

A 55-year-old man on the Ionian island of Corfu was arrested on Monday after being found with a package of peppers that contained 32 grams of uncut cocaine.

Acting on a tip-off, police officers stopped the car the man was driving after he picked up a package from the parcel delivery service of the KTEL Intercity Bus station. A search of the vehicle revealed that the parcel contained peppers stuffed with the potent narcotic.

The 55-year-old faces drug dealing charges.
