Siblings remanded in custody for bodybuilder’s shooting

Two brothers, aged 27 and 33, were remanded in custody over the weekend in Volos, central Greece, in connection with the attempted murder of a 37-year-old bodybuilder who was shot four times outside his sports equipment store on September 10. According to police reports, the incident occurred after the victim disagreed with the 27-year-old suspect over a food supplement sale.

The 27-year-old allegedly returned to the store accompanied by his brother and carrying a shotgun, shooting the victim at close range four times.

Following the police’s investigation into the incident, the two suspects have also been linked to the robbery of a post office in Volos in July last year.

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old bodybuilder remains in a critical condition at a Larissa hospital.
