Train crews join Wednesday strike action with 4-hour stoppage
Train and Proastiakos suburban railway workers will be walking off the job for four hours on Wednesday in protest at plans to privatize the Hellenic Railways’ Organization (OSE).
The stoppage will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will mean serious service disruptions. It is scheduled to coincide with a nationwide strike organized by civil service umbrella union ADEDY.
