Police break robbery ring in Thessaloniki
Two foreign nationals, aged 22 and 40, have been arrested in Thessaloniki, while another pair, aged 30 and 36, are being sought by police, suspected of being members of a gang believed to have carried out a series of robberies in the northern port city.
According to initial reports, the criminal gang’s members are thought to have broken into at least 45 homes since April 2009, making off with valuables estimated at about 412,000 euros, including 23 vehicles.
