Man dies after falling off Lesvos castle
Police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 58-year-old man who fell off the Mithymna Castle in the northern part of the Aegean island of Lesvos on Sunday. According to initial reports the police was treating the case as a suicide.
The victim reportedly bought a ticket at the Mithymna Castle’s entrance before heading to the castle and jumping to his death.
The man was believed to be from Samos.
