Search under way for German hiker missing on Crete
Rescue teams on Sunday where investigating the disappearance of a 67-year-old German national who was on a hiking trip in Aghia Pelagia in Iraklio on the southern Aegean island of Crete.
The 67-year-old was reported missing by his son earlier in the day after he failed to return from his early morning hike.
EMAK rescue teams, police and coast guard officers were dispatched to the area to search for the missing man on land and sea over concerns that he may have met with an accident.
