Thessaloniki man faces prosecutor over unpaid tax bill of 925,000 euros
A 53-year-old Thessaloniki man faced a prosecutor in the northern port city Wednesday in connection with a tax bill to the state worth nearly a million euros.
The man is said to owe 925,000 euros in unpaid taxes.
Authorities have intensified a crackdown on individuals and entrepreneurs who owe money to the state as part of a troika-imposed crackdown aimed at raising much-needed revenue.
