Son of former Cyprus interior ministry remanded in custody in connection to Tsochatzopoulos trial
Michalis Michailides, the son of former Cyprus Interior Minister Dinos Michailides, was remanded in pretrial custody by an Athens magistrate late on Wednesday in connection with the ongoing money-laundering trial of ex-Defense Minister Akis Tsochadzopoulos (photo).
Both the Cypriot ex-minister and his son are accused of helping the former Greek defense minister hide a trail of millions of euros he received in kickbacks for defense contracts.
