Civil servants’ union appeals against scrapping of 6,000 positions
Civil servants’ union ADEDY has appeal to the Council of State to block the government’s mobility scheme and the scrapping of 6,000 positions in the public sector.
ADEDY argues that the decisions taken by the Administrative Reform Ministry are unconstitutional.
The union also claims that a full study was not carried out before the positions were abolished and that it simply serves the government’s plans to meet its target for the mobility scheme.
