Disciplinary council acquits four region employees
Four employees at the public works department for western Athens of the Attica Regional Authority were acquitted of misconduct charges by a disciplinary council Monday.
Commenting on the decision, Attica Regional Governor Yiannis Sgouros said that the state should not resort to “witch hunts” and the threat of layoffs to “terrorize civil servants” in its bid to impose discipline in the public sector.
