Golden Dawn member linked to Fyssas murder faces investigative magistrate
A Golden Dawn member faced an investigative magistrative on Wednesday in connection to the murder of 34-year-old hip hop artist Pavlos Fyssas by Golden Dawn member Giorgos Roupakias, 45, in Keratsini, southeastern Attica, on September 17.
Yiannis Kazatzoglou, 32, was allegedly a passenger in the vehicle driven by Roupakias on the night of the fatal stabbing outside a cafeteria. Police discovered Kazatzoglou’s identity card and mobile phone in Roupakias’s car. He was conditionally released following a first deposition and ordered not to exit the country.
Roupakias, who has confessed to killing Fyssas, was expected to face a prosecutor on Thursday. Besides facing murder charges he was also expected to face the additional charge of being a member of a criminal organization.
