Probe ordered into unregistered drugs found at Omonia police station
An emergency probe has been ordered by Greek Police after a raid carried out by members of the force’s internal affairs department on the Omonia police station late on Tuesday led to the discovery of an unspecified quantity of heroin as well as 29 pills containing narcotics.
The drugs found at the police station had not been registered in the department’s records.
The investigation was also expected to shed light on the provenance of the drugs.
