Athens University staff plan strike for all of next week
Administrative staff at Athens University decided on Friday to strike all of next week as well and to launch legal action over the public sector mobility scheme.
They say that the government’s plan to move more than 1,300 administrative employees from universities will leave the Athens institution with just half of its staff.
The employees said no criteria were applied to decide the transfers and that other universities like Patra and Panteion would not lose any staff.
