Samaria Gorge opens to public after quake

Crete’s Samaria Gorge was scheduled to reopen to the public on Tuesday. The popular tourist attraction had been closed as a result of a 6.4 Richter earthquake that shook the island’s Hania prefecture on Saturday.

Authorities warned visitors to be alert due to an increased risk of falling rocks in the area following the quake.
