Suspect in Pangrati nightclub shooting turns himself in
A 23-year-old Olympiakos supporter being sought in connection to the shooting of a nightclub employee, also 23, in the area of Pangrati, central Athens, has turned himself in, police said on Saturday.
According to reports, a fight which broke out between Olympiakos and Panathinaikos soccer club fans at an nightclub on October 13 led to the scuffle spilling out onto Ymittou Street, where one of the brawlers pulled out a gun and fired it.
The 23-year-old victim remains in critical condition in an Athens hospital.
