Local authority workers to hold three-hour work stoppage on Tuesday
Local authority workers are to hold a work stoppage between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday to support a protest by sacked school guards.
The school guards, the first civil servants to be included in the current phase of the civil service mobility scheme, began on September 28 a “marathon” from Thessaloniki that is due to end at Syntagma Square on Tuesday,
POE-OTA, the local authority workers’ union, said it wants to use the occasion to highlight its opposition to the mobility program.
